I want to thank you for supporting me in the May 12th election for Duncanville City Council District 4. Many of you know how close the election results were with 39% of the voters MARKing their vote for me as their next city councilman.

50% Required Votes
Mark D. Cooks Shooting For 50% of the Run-off Votes

Neither the incumbent, nor myself reached the 50% of the required votes needed to gain the seat for the next term. The final election results were both of us receiving 39% of the votes with a three vote variance. Therefore, we will have a run-off on June 23rd. I encourage you to come out and vote.

  • 250 voters returning to the poll during Early Voting
  • 200 voters coming out on Election Day
  • Campaign contributions of $5.00 - $1000.00
  • Dedicated phone bank workers 3-hours a night, Monday – Friday
  • Street Team Walkers to work on Saturdays, including Election Day

Where Do I Need to Live in Duncanville to Mark My Vote?

Duncanville District 4 includes residents Southeast of Highway 67, the Hollywood Park community as well as the Lime Tree LN– Lime Leaf LN - Marcus H Harrington Park area, the Silver Creek Drive area (near Costco), Brandenburg Intermediate, Softwood Drive – Alexander Elementary, and Cedar Hill Rd – Little Bethel Cemetery.
